Slow Cooker Chicken Stew

Ingredients

  • 200 g chopped celery
  • 200 g Chopped carrots
  • 230 g Mushrooms
  • 1100 g chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 150 g chopped onions
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 700 ml chicken stock
  • 100 ml water
  • 3/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Place the celery, carrots and onion into the bottom of your slow cooker and place the chicken on top of the veg.
  • Season the chicken and veg. with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Mix together the tomato paste and chicken stock in a bowl.
  • Pour this mixture along with the water into the slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
