    10 of the Best Staycation Pitstops for Food Lovers!

    Some of us may have a road trip planned, but what about food? We have compiled a list of some of the must-eat-at foodie pitstops for you to enjoy throughout your Irish summer. From laid-back eateries to finer dining experiences, each of them has one thing in common; their delicious dishes use Manor Farm Foodservice chicken! We’re kicking off the restaurant must-visits in Leinster, particularly the big smoke that is Dublin.

    If you’re lucky enough to be staying at The MacNean House by Neven and Almeda Maguire, you’ll be sure to be trying out the restaurant. The tasting menu is on the pricier side, but for good reason. Enjoy a range of meats from rabbit to quail and most importantly Manor Farm corn fed chicken. Make sure you book in advance as there is a long waiting list!

    With an extensive menu of seafood, burgers and chicken, this family-owned business will sort out any craving.  Get your feed on and check out the stunning sights around the restaurant such as the Benbulben mountain for the ultimate staycation exploration.

    Chimac – Dublin

    We’re headed back down the fried chicken route, this time, with a Korean twist! Korean flavours meddled with local produce are used to create the ultimate chicken burger and wings. The flavour of this fried chicken is unmissable, from Korean hot sauce to sriracha caramel, you’re spoiled for choice. Did we mention the Kimcheese fries and ice cream sandwiches? We need not say more, the menu speaks for itself!

    Sometimes you just need to treat yourself to the finer things in life, and what better time to do that than on your holidays! Multi-award winner Fallon & Byrne have been at it for a while now, and there’s a lot to be said for their Exchequer Street restaurant. Make sure to stop by and check out all they have to offer.
